Drums wont change?

Hi guys

Can anyone please help. I play all my midi files through Sonar (Cakewalk).

If I change the sounds on my PC (Sonar) then it changes on the keyboard but if I change my Drums sets on the PC (Sonar) it won't change on the keyboard.

Why is that?

Hi Piesang,

The latest version of Cakewalk Sonar has real drum samples, and if you are using sampled drums instead of General Midi drumkits, then changing the sample set on the PC will not make anything happen on the Pa1x.

You need to select General Midi drums from Cakewalk, and change the drumset by using General Midi compatible program change numbers for the diferent drumkits. That works.

I use sonar 6 and it is true what they say rob. You must configure ring. At the tools to enable it to sound and pa1x able to work together common agreement .... Another problem is the sysex (exclusive) hurts your head to think about it .... I do this ... better connect the cables and midi (pa1x/sonar) Do you make a prayer and vigilance until I die ... sorry .... Here I am begin do my sequences with PA1X/SONAR 6 .....
