Is there a way to record without the metronome on?

Is there a way to record music without using the metronome? If not can you atleast silence it while playing? I like to do some slow downs and such during songs and its hard to whenever I hear a tempo going constantly in the background :roll:

Select the sequencer Preference tab.
There you can turn it off.
