Post by ingar »

How do I record a song step by step? First the style and next add solo guitar and other intruments step by step?

The way I use for step recording is;

1- I do the style first in Style record mode rather than going directly into Sequencer mode and do the style there from scratch.

2- Then, I do the paper work that how many bars i need for var1, var2, var3 and where to change, and where i need Fills, break etc.. how many bars I need for first interlude and so on, I do each single bar work on paper first.

2- Then I use Sequencer mode, quick recording mode, and record just the beat using Fills, Intros, Ending etc... wherever I want them according to my paper work.

3- Then I do the chord changes in quick Step recording.

4- Then I use "Multitrack recording" mode and record my Interlude musical pieces/bar pieces etc...

5- Finally, I do event editing for each track to make changes in details.

6- then, Song editing mode and do FX's, Volumes, panning etc.......

Done It !!! :D

Inqar,

I had Yamaha 3000 and then Tyros before, and I used them like more than 2 years and I know each single function of them, so I must say PA800 is easier than Yamaha and a lot more professional, as it has got more options so we sometime think oh it is not easier than Yamaha, actually more options give you more accuracy, more professional work and perfection.

Thanks anyhow
