EMX midi trouble

Hi!
I just got my EMX-1 and was playing with it, I wanted to use my xiosynth controller with it. I connected it through midi in chanel, but when I try to control synth parts, it plays some generic wave sounds, instead of the sound that I get by pressing keys on emx itself.
What am I doing wrong ? I apreciate any help on that matter

nobody have any ideas ???
Also, when I'm trying to play an audio through EMX, I get a really weak signal, much quiter than the sound that electribe produces, so I can not mix it in. Is there a way to adjust that ?

By Default:
Synth 1 is Midi Channel 1
...
Synth 5 is Midi Channel 5
All Drums are Midi Channel 10

You must set your xiosynth to send on Midi Channel 1 if you want Synth 1 on the EMX to make a sound.

If you've already tried this stuff then I don't know what else it could be.

Yeah, I think it is a trouble on xiosynth part, because it always plays whatever is on midi chanel 1, I'm not sure how to switch it.
When I'm switching chanels on xiosynth it still plays whatever is on midi one
