we should establish rules before you close this and set the deadline... ps I'm already working on my composition ;) working totally out of my normal style and genre for fun.

I am new at recording, but I think my youtube vid's have great quality. But then again not sure!
it doesn't sound bad BUT it's not the same as listening to an mp3... there are many parts to making a song most of which can not be heard well under heavy compression, it takes a lot to make a song and most of it is leveling.... this is one of the hardest things to do properly on the electribes and can not be heard under compressed videos..... this is something you listen to on at least a 128 kbs mp3 file....

also a lot of frequencies screw up with compression(file compression not the effect)....

ive not yet decided to use either my MX or es1+electric'drumkit .
Am i allowed to use the drumkit n sampler combo ??

if not thats no bother , my mx was my first choice , but now i have 2 ways of performing music .

I'm actually not gonna use an existing track I decided to start fresh from nothing so it's fair to everyone else.

reddone, I think the idea is having this be an electribe only contest.... I mean it'd be ok with me in a sence that it would be an analogue of an esx....
