Presumably you can't remove the EXs3 demo, once you've installed it, to free up disc space ? I haven't had my discs yet so didn't see the install process.

Thanks,

Daz.

Hi Daz.

The installation update is at the OS level at first to just get the OASYS to support the new library, after that, it sits on the hard disk just as EXs 1 & 2.

So there is no RAM memory usage if you don't load EXs3 the exact same way you load EXs 1 & 2. There will be Hard Disk usage, and I don't think you can remove that. I haven't looked in the factory folder myself to be honest though.

Regards.
Sharp.

price/quality rate is excellent. thanx

I have to say, I'm really enjoying the EX3 orchestral combis. I love the dynamics in the first one, for example (Orchestra+Timpani?), & how different instruments come out depending on velocity.

I thought good orchestra sounds were all about good strings, but having good brass/woodwinds makes a massive difference too!

Much Much sample added to OASYS !!!!!!

No it's time for KORG in future OS to propose a way to only load in RAM the multi-sample used in current prog/combi/seq to mix KARO and EXs-1/EXs-2/EXs-3/ :)

I loaded the EX3 , I haven't paid for it yet...But I noticed the Combi sounds weird? Do I have to load the producer again? It sounds like the wrong instrutment is playing...at the wrong time?
Thanks Glenn

I really love this new librarie, KORG very well done. Beautiful detailled.

But I agree, I wish I could choose which program to load, one by one, or selecting a few, with the corresponding multisamples. I would love that too when loading sampling cd's like the KARO libraries: load one program AND the multisample at the same time.
