Converting A Song (.SNG) to a Wave (.WAV) file

Post by 10Shoes »

I used the sequencer in my Korg Triton Extreme to make a song and saved it on my flash drive.

Can someone please tell me what exactly i have to do to make the .sng file into a wave file?

record your song into the sequencer
then press the sampling tab at the bottom of the screen
then from the drop down tab top right select AUTO SAMPLING setup
then a box will appear where you can select ram or media
select media (convert to a program too if you wish)
Then press sampling rec button then start stop then press play on the sequencer.
This will then record your sequence to your SD card.

Then go into MEDIA and you should see a WAV. file - you can then play it or use USB to connect it to your PC and burn to a cd.

Hope that helps

When I go to the Auto Sampling Setup, there is only 3 choices:
Initialize
Resample Seq Play
In Track Sampling

Which one do i have to choose?

But now the MEDIA option is not active.
My media is a USB Flash Drive.
Do i have to format it again in order for the option to become active again?

You can't re-sample a song to an external drive.
You can only re-sample to the user installed CF card (MEDIA), or RAM.
Another option is to output the sound to your computer's sound card, and record using software.

^^^
Alright then, I'll try to get the CF card tomorrow and then try resampling it.

Thanks for the information.
