Midi Keyboard [Microkorg] And FL Studio

[I did try searching, but with no luck]

I can't for the life of me get it to work.
I have a MIDI to USB conneter,
Windows installed that fine,
And it shows up in FL,
But I can't get it to play.
I want it to control what is in the program.

Can anyone help a noob out?

so guess what
i had the same problem 1 post below yours is mine
but i went to another forum and they helped me out ill tell you
midi to usb will not work if you want to record or play your mkorg into the pc
you need to get a cable which you can connect to the audio output in the back of your korg and into the microphone port in your laptop/pc
but theres good news, the cable you need is cheap dont worry about it about 10 bucks you can get it at a radioshack or something
anyways just get the cable connect it and play and record and play a little more

But I would like to use it as a controler.
But I will take that in mind when I would like to use the Microkorg sounds.
