Velocity and Main Volume Controller Lanes in Cubase

Post by neonsean »

I'm quite new at this, so please excuse my inexperience!
Normally when I'm editing a midi track with a VSTi assigned to it in cubase, I am able to adjust the volume, key velocity, panning, etc. the notes play at. However, unlike my other VSTis, adjusting say, velocity, doesn't have any effect on LegacyCell; it still just plays all of them at their default velocity. Am I missing a step somewhere, or does LegacyCell not support the use of these controls?

Sean

ps hope my question makes sense

I`m afraid it doesn` t respond to volume, you have to use vst fader instead...

I figured it out! Thanks, Kmar, somehow what you said put me on the right track!

I had to assign one of the sliders in LegacyCell to control the Master Fader. Then I controlled that slider using cc21.
