Hi, first off sorry for annoying anyone by this question...
I live in Ireland and purchased my microkorg online through ebay from america. I plugged it in and boom it went up in a puff of smoke, i (stupidly thought the adapter was switched to irish wattage/voltage but it obviusly wasnt)
I left the korg to settle and thought s**t ive completl blew it and it wont be covered under warrenty. I bought batteriers to see if it was just the plug that i blew but the batteries didnt work in it either. It seems no where in ireland no how or fix microkorgs.....
what im wondering is is the microkorg completly wrecked or does it sound like it could just be the power supply part inside thats blown? does anyone have any suggestions how i can go about fixing my beautiful microkorg? etc etc
Would really appreciate some feedback
my email is richardiwalsh@gmail.com also if taht helps....
please please PLEASE HELP!!!!

E's not dead. E's resting. E's stunned. E's probably pining for the fjords.

You've let the smoke out. You've got an Ex-MicroKorg.

If you're into DIY repairs, there have been a few topics in this forum.
This one suggests that PSU problems are fixable, albeit with a very steady soldering hand

Have never taken one apart myself, so don't know if you need to remove the knobs to get inside it, but if you do then see:-

You might get some more info. if you contact the members directly.
Good luck.
