Hi I opened many of The KB,s and heave a great Enginier Brother here in Sweden, He build a DUST coverage for the KB, And it,s great, The only thing,,, Be careful, And think About Waranty!!!
If you are not god on this , DONT DO IT!
If you can handle it , Than Its OK!
PA1X PRO, And PA 2 X pro Is similar for opening. Its easy, Just move Screws back, And Let the midle screws stay, Than its like a BOX you just lift!
There is the key bed, And easly clean it!
So, again , Careful for LCD Cable, and other smal Cables that goes to Key board!
After cleaning put al back again, Test the kesy after booting the KB.
God luck!

No Need to Open the Keyboard!!!!

All you have to do is use your Vaccum cleaner attach the hose that looks like a brush at one end and one end goes to the handle tube for your vaccum. First unplug your keyboard and turn it upside down and shake it gentley your keyboard and see all the sand and dirt fall of it with some peices of cloth fibre. Then turn on the vaccum machine and gently go over the keys and gentley press the keys while you vacuum over it. Try to clean between white and black key seperation. Thirdly grab a lint free piece of cloth dump it in warm water and squeeze all the access water out and gentley clean between the Keys and let it sit for a hour to dry once you are done your Keyboard would book as new.

I hope you find this posting helpful,

Qader Jan,

For your Seventh album are you going to record the songs on the sequencer of the Keyboard like how Wahid Jan-e-Omid does here in Vancouver ???. Where the songs are written in say like 200 bars or like 150 bars depending on the song and it's mood and scale like 7/8 for Pashtoo and 6/8 and 4/4 for some Mast and Slow songs. Having said that is because I have seen him record albums for alot of Afghan and Non-Afghan artists like RIP Nasrat Parsa, Habib Qaderi, Naweed Sahil, Mustafa Tanha, Sayed Amir, Kahild Omar, Naweed Wahidi, Khalid Nasiri and Many Many more.

hello tariq jan !!

no, i am not using any keyboard for any vocal recordings, i am using SONAR 6.0 by cakewalk with MOTU 24/IO.....

everything is done in my PC, i have over 10 sound modules and a DM PRO drum module, i don't use any keyboard for recordings....

i have alots of plug ins for my sonar, like antares filters, deesser, and many many more...

album #7 is going to be a bit different from my previous albums...

in my early pots i mentioned different time signatures for different beats..

i use 3/4 for mogholy and 4/4 for dadra and geda....

hopefully i can finish my 7th album by april or may 08.... working on it day and night.....

Qader Jan,

I wish you all success on your 7th album and good luck in production. I know, it is really hard to sometimes what your minds says to materialize it using electronic insruments. There are times when you hear a piece of music in your thoughts and when you try to make it so that your audience can hear it a small percentage of it is lost in transation. However, I know you are one of our talented and creative musicians in the community and you always come up with new flavors for each of your albums. Again Qader Jan, I wish you all the best on your up-comming 7th album and your hard work will god willing pay off as always.

With Regards,

Tariq
