Change tempo while recording...?

Hello, why is it that when you record something, I cant change anything afterwards, such as tempo, sound etc.. Because the Recording window is open...

Is there a way to MINIMIZE this window..??

press exit

the record continues anyway

if you wanna stop press shift+record and then you´ll return to the record message

Thanx.. I always thought pressing Exit would stop recording..
