I'm surprised that no one else has seconded this or commented on it. And even more surprised to see that the Padkontrol has no remote protocol in Reason, especially considering the popularity of the PK. It would just be wonderful to see a visual representation of what is going on in Reason on the PK, much like how it does with the MicroKontrol and remote protocol would be a fix for the light toggle problem (for Reason users anyway).

Give us Remote!!!!

I have an app (nativeKONTROL Reason) that adds Reason remote capabilities to the pK, but it’s relatively basic. It emulates the Frontier Design Tranzport. Unfortunately, the pK doesn’t have enough knobs or displays to emulate something like the microKontrol.

But, along with remote abilities, my app also gives you a touchpad and a 5 octave set of pads. You can find more info at nativekontrol.com and see a video preview here:

some nice work there, but i'm talking about something like how microcontrols pads lights give response. ie: in redrum it displays what note/hit is happening on the pads and if you are using a loop in dr rex it stays lit when its on and off when its not. also you should have a little macintosh support. i know things like the x/y trackpad prob wont be available to mac users, but the other tools would be useful.

with a little more digging i found that it is not possible for users like me and you to create a remote protocol to effect LED's or lights. So again, Korg, what gives? Get on it!!!!!

+1
please support reason.

Korg,

I FIND IT QUITE ODD THAT YOU GET AN UPGRADE CODE FOR REASON ADAPTED WHEN YOU PURCHASE A PADKONTROL, BUT ITS NOT SUPPORTED. !?!?!?!?!?

I fugured it was just because reason adapted was a smaller version.
come to find out its not in the midid devices

WHAT GIVES?

are you all working to get this added?
is it on it's way?

thank you
