roll and flam function with abelton

i tried to reassign the buttons on the padkontrol to make it easier to use with ableton live. after reasssinging only two of the eight assigned buttons will roll or flam. what do i need to do?

Press Setting, hold down Roll and whatever pads are unlit will not roll. While holding down Roll, you can press the unlit pads to turn them on. Same for Flam.

Hello. I'm new here. Sorry if this has been discussed before.

I just got myself a padkontrol and i'm currently running it with Ableton Live 5. The roll and flam work fine. My question is, how do I control the graph in the effects (for example, Chorus has Amount & Rate) using the X-Y pad of the padkontrol?

Do I need to transmit the Live preload in Librarian? In my case, doing so caused all the pads to lit and none of them working.
