when you say you cant use any of the presets in ableton, do you mean that the when you hit the pads on the pK, it doesnt trigger any of the slots in impulse? There is a preset on the pK to use the impulse, dont remember which one it is, but it should be in the pKs documentation. If you want you can use the korg editor Librarian and set up a scene on the pK to trigger the impulse. The impulse's 8 slots are triggered by midi notes C3-C4, just the white keys. But in Korg world its C4-C5, just the white keys...So if you set up your pk to send these notes you with the PK editor, you should be good to go...

Fisrt press setting then the pad you wish to change and the lcd will display the note it's outputting, change this to what you want (each time you press the pad it will play the note so if you have it routed into ableton and into impulse you can do this by trial and error)

Complete this with all the pads and then save the scene using the button marked as such....

Other than that a good read of the manual did it for me and i've never needed to use the editor....

Cheers
