New R3 Patch - JusticeG Phat Bass

Post by xmlguy »

I created a new R3 patch based on the Genesis track by Justice.

It's a very phat polyphonic bass patch with a mild portamento for the harmonic warping done in the track by hitting a legato 1st,5th,1st up an octave from the root.

If you want to try the patch, send an email to xmlguy at my hotmail account with R3 JusticeG in the subject and I'll send it to you.

I'd prefer that you send me email directly to xmlguy at my hotmail account, so that you don't get flooded by spammers who spider this forum. Either way, I'll send the patch. It would be great to hear how you like it by posting your comments to this thread. Thanks!

I'll mention that this patch has a raw rip/shred if you use low velocity for the low bass root note and then hammer the notes up an octave+a fifth. Use the pitchbend and mod wheel for crazy shreds.

It would be handy if there was a section for the R3!

Dear mods / admins,

Please create a R3 download section!!

I don't think they're listening.

I sent them one of my patches more than a month ago to upload, and resent it twice. Never heard back, nothing was posted, and so I stopped trying. I also sent email to the two admins that were listed for contacts. No response.

See my message here -> http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=31712

I'll cheat and bypass the normal uploading procedure that Sharp does and I'll hack it in there manually ;-) Normally I only administrate the forum, but I have the keys to that area too :-)

Thanks for sticking with us xmlguy (and also Lee S. who fired a note my way) ... much appreciated ! 8)

I've created a R3 corner in the download section and upped xmlguy's patches.

To get the proggies go to the homepage at http://www.korgforums.com and click Downloads and then R3.

Enjoy,

Daz.

p.s. feel free to email any R3 or Radias stuff directly to me and I'll upload it ... don't tell Sharp ;-)

whats really needed is that slap bass!

Thanks for these! One small problem though..on the R3 download
page, the "Studio F Eminent" link brings up the "hypervoc" patch!
