PA1X hard drive backup

Post by hammer »

What is the correct procedure for backing up the built-in hard drive in my PA1X? What is the best way to restore the data later if necessary?

Hi Hammar

The best way is to USB-connect to your PC or notebook and copy all files and folders to the PC's hard drive.

This is a slow USB so be warned that it may take a long time (mine takes about 2-3 hours - also depends on the amount of data).

....BUT IT IS WORTH DOING !!! :D :D

Restoring is simply the reverse although I would format the Korg HDD first.

Cheers

I think the fastest way is to build the hd off the key - put it in an 2,5" external usb case and plug to pc.

Thanks for the input - did the backup with no problems - only took about 10 minutes.
