EXTRA RAM PAX2 PRO

Post by robkeith »

i have asked this question couple times here in Australia, still waiting on a response from Music Link (prob on hols till the 7th Jan) The ram chip EXBM256 to make the PA2X Pro 256mb instead of 128mb, seams to have the same part number as the chip they use in the M3 synth. Is it the same chip?? and can you let them know here, so they can answer the question etc.

Thanks

No, the Pa800 has fixed RAm size of 64 Mb. Not upgradeable.

I just installed the EXB-M256 for the M3 inside my PA2X Pro.

Works like a charm

It is very easy . In the back of the KB there is a little cover with two screws. Remove that cover and you will see the 128mb card in there. Just remove that and put your ne EXB256 in there and you ready to go.
