Are there hotkeys for M3?

Post by dha514 »

I'm a newb M3 user and I was just wondering if there were any assignable hotkeys.

For example, it takes a while for me to go from Int-A 93 to Int-C 112. It sucks especially when I am playing a fast-tempo song.

Is there any way I could assign certain buttons for Int-A 93 and Int-C 112 so I could change the sound faster (preferably those white soft pads underneath the touch screen)?

Thanks.

Maybe someone else can come up with a better solution. I would just copy the programs to adjacent user bank locations and use the up/dwn buttons next to the value slider.

Maybe someone know a solution for the pads,
But i would copy the programs/combis in correct order to user-banks and then use the value-key up/down to quick shift.

Just did my first live gig with my new M3 last night. Ditto for copying faves to a User bank. You can get quicker access by then pressing the arrow ">" to the left of the program name on the touch screen. This brings up an onscreen list of programs in that bank and you just touch to select a new one. No incremental scrolling with the up/down buttons.

Saving programs to a User bank is covered in the Editing Programs chapter in the manual. I saw the screen display feature in one of Stephen Kay's videos.
