Only by recording in real time. Let's say we want to transfer Tenor Noise sound from PA to TR. First of all lets take a closer look at how the patch is designed. It consists of two sounds: sax itself and some kind of hiss, imitating air flow. We need to record these two sounds separately. Set OSC 2 level to 0, turn off rev and delay, set keyboard velocity to max 127. Now were ready to record samples into computer. No need to record all notes. Sax mutisample consists of few regions, so we can record only central note of each region. We can use any audio editor to record samples, for ex http://www.wavosaur.com/nikola81 wrote:I'm interested in converting internal multisamples from pa to tr...
Is that possible?
Notes don't need to be long; attack and two or three vibrato cycles will be enough.
Now we need to recreate loop points of each sample. It's easy in Wavosaur.
For assembling multisample from single samples we need program named Awave Studio. It's not free, but without it it's impossible to save samples in Korg format. (Chicken System Translator free doesn't support Korg.) BTW, Awave is very good at finding loop points authomatically.
If it ain't broken, don't fix it!
