I was recording a sequence on the TR with the meter set to 3/4 and suddenly it switched to 4/4 during the recording.
Thinking I had inadvertently done something, I turned off the TR to clear it and started over - it was just a short sequence.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

No, I did not set the song length - it was at the default 64 measures and I just pressed STOP when I finished playing.
The sequence was only 30 measures or so and it changed at 28 before I quit playing.
I am not used to setting a song length since I don't usually use the metronome and I'm not very precise - a lot of rubato.
The instrument (TR88) is new and I'm still learning.
Thanks

You are probably correct, Pagey.
I loaded a template song and changed the meter and tempo and it lasted only for the number of measures mentioned before going back to the default.
I don't know what triggered the change but evidently the template can't be tampered with. It could be the drum loop.
This is disappointing because the template sets up everything nicely and I figured the tempo and meter could be changed.
I'm sure I'm not understanding all the specifics involved but I would like to hear additional thoughts.
