Good keytar?

Post by Arctica »

So I've been looking for a reasonable keytar. Now I know the Roland Ax-1 and Ax-7 are the best options, but they've gotten so pricey lately. What about an alternative, like the Yamaha SHS-10? Anyone have any experience with it or others?

If you can't say something nice....oh well, skip it. The only good keytar is a dead keytar.

I have an old Casio AZ-1 in my attic

Used it as sort of a goof in a band that was meant to be goofy.

Isn't it outrageous? I bought my AX-7 for like $400 five years ago

I have an old Korg RK-100. Nice but limited as to controls, whether it's bank select or no velocity.
