Hey guys loving my TE 76 I bought last week....
I figured out how to copy the combi drum patterns and I "save" them to CF as 8 bars & 16 bars etc seq patterns...I'm making a library for future use....
The problem I'm having is when I want to record additional tracks (eg.piano, bass) to the 8 bars the sequencer DOES NOT stop after 8 bars but rather extends the # of measures....How can I get it to the point where it will stop on a dime at the end of my 8 bars when I add additional tracks...I'm currently having to delete at the end which is slightly annoying.
I'm sure it's a simple solution
Thanks

Set Song Length
Ok that works but only AFTER I record an additional track...
But do I have to do that after every track I record? A bit time-consuming...My old ENSONIQ stopped on a dime when the 8 bars were finished.....
Is there any way to get to the TE "stop on a dime" when I am recording ?....in other words EXACTLY when the drum beat stops playing at the end of bar 8?
KORG told me I had to delete the extra measures every-time...at least your way is easier...But I would prefer to NOT have to TRACK EDIT/SONG LENGTH after every single track...
But at least like I said your way is easier than deleting measures
Thanks

The Triton always starts with a song that has 64 measures by default.
Here are a few options.
1. Turn on the Triton. Go to Track Edit to set the song length to 001, prior to recording.
2. Switch to "S001: NEW SONG". Set the length at the prompt window.
3. Save a song with the length you want. Load it every time from the MEDIA mode.
Number 1 is probably the best way for you, as you can set up the length prior to recording.
The sequencer will then stop at the last recorded measure.

Hi
You could also try PUNCH recording on the sequencer. You could look this up in the user manual under the SEQUENCER section.
PUNCH recording enables you to select a specific area of measures to record on, so that it disables recording when a certain measure is reached.
I think it can be activated by going to the last tab on the sequencer page (I'm not near my keyboard, so I'm riffing off the top of my head).

Tried this yesterday and thought FOR SURE this will work..........nope...I mean it is AUTO PUNCH after all
I want to build a song verse/chorus/bridge etc...in 8 and 16 bar increments...When Korg said well you are still recording so the sequencer will keep moving I was like but I want the darn thing to STOP at the desired bar.....
So far nothing STOPS ON A DIME....
