MR 1 display blank

Hello i bought a mr 1 and nothing appears in the display...just light... no welcome screen nothing...


An idea ???

I also have an M1R that has been sitting around for a quite while with a blank display. It lights up but no characters. If anyone has any info on this problem it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to be able to use it again.
