PA1X loading Songbooks

Post by hammer »

What is the procedure for loading a 2nd songbook without destroying the current songbook? Can they be merged or must each songbook be loaded by itself? I have two songbooks with corrected song titles and don't know how to incorporate them into the PA1X.

Hi hammer

only one songbook can be loaded at a time

you can edit the songbook using the software available on the korgpa.com website maybe you can merge them this way( not sure about that )
Regards

Mick

Songbook loading and Editing

Post by hammer »

Hi Mick,

Yea, I found and have read the Songbook Editor manual and am going through the process right now learning how to save and restore songbooks. Not to bad once you work your way through the manual. I am at a point now where I haven't figured out how the system saves the files - that slows me down a lot looking for the files to reload.

I used my PA1X on a pretty big gig venue yesterday and really got some rave comments from the audience. I was surprised they noticed a difference. I was also surprised how good this thing sounds in larger rooms. I have not been overly happy with the PA1X but when it is setup right it sure sounds great.

I am working at getting all my gig songbooks setup. I use various songs at different venues. A hugh job when your still learning how the OS works.

Thanks for th input - the Songbook Editor manual is a big help.
