Ahah, that's what my singer saied after looking the Mlodyne videos
BTW, I think Melodyne usage is much more creative than "simple" pitch correction, as Daz saied.

I guess that the price of Melodyne Uno is about $200, but it worth every cent. I just can't imagine how will be the future development: if they are ging to release that new technology maybe thay will not support older versions, or maybe won't sell them anymore.
I would wait and see what happen with the release of DNA, if there is a light version available.

I downloaded the demo for vst plugin and it keeps giving me an error in soundforge. i wonder if i'm just not using it properly. Or maybe I can ignore the error and it will work. I just don't even understand how to load the audio wav into the plugin to edit it.

Hi George,

To get the audio the audio into the plug-in you need to hit the 'Transfer >>>' button at the top left of the plug-in and then hit play in SoundForge. When you hit stop in SF the audio will then have been 'recorded' from SoundForge into the Melodyne plug-in. At this point it detects pitch/timing and analyzes the recored material. Its then ready to go. It works in a rather interesting way in that you need to transfer the audio into the plug-in first before you can do anything.

Yes, Daz, it's interesting the way Melodyne works, and the Melodyne Bridge concept is very good, too.

But what happen when you want to "un-melodyne" the pitch/timing correction?
It's a destructive editing?
Or you just need to turn off the plugin for that track and you're done?
