Zero 4 hooked up firewire need help on recording...
Okay i have the latest firmware and updates installed. I am trying to use adobe audition or even traktor. All i am trying to do is record my mix from two technic turntables hooked up phono on channel 1 and 2. Now when im recording it records both channels at the same time like its not recognizing my fader going back n forth. It wont record 1 channel and then into the 2nd channel, it just records both at the same time. I have channel 1 set to A and channel 2 set to B. Using KORG Asios drivers and on track 1 its set to Zero L1 and track 2 is set to Zero L2 . What can i do so i can get my fader working and mix my two tables together on the pc?

Well, on track 1 when i click Input - Stereo - all that is available are these: ZERO 1L IN / ZERO 2L IN / ZERO 3L IN / ZERO 4L IN and all the way to 8L. Im using a Zero 4. When i choose Mono then i see ZERO 1L ZERO 1R / ZERO 2L / ZERO 2R . But when i choose those nothing records. It only records when i have track 1 set to Zero 1L for 1 turntable. And then Zero 2L for my 2nd turntable. But when i slide my cross fader to A or B nothing happens they just both record at the same tmie no matter what im doing. But when im playing thru speakers/amp it plays fine when mixing. Is there a way to record just whatever comes out of Master from the mixer? Or what am i doing wrong...argh this is frustrating heh

when you have the zero4 connected and zero edit open you shouldnt be seeing a picture of the zero 8
it is supposed to switch over to the correct picture
anyway
in the second picture you have the master set as 8L/8R
use that channel to record in audition
and that should turn out what you want
if it doesnt there there is some problem with zero edit and your mixer communicating which there seems to be because of the picture not changing to the correct mixer
but give it a shot sometimes the ugly solution turns out to be the right method
