Assigning functions for Reason into the MicroKontrol

The microKontrol instruction manual isn't helping me much. How do I assign, for example, the joystick Y axis to PITCH BEND in Reason? Do you have to know the code for the MIDI function and enter that in? If so, what is the code for pitch bend and where do I enter it after pressing SETTING+JOYSTICK-Y? The options are for parameters, ctrl change, c change, and MIDIch. I'm not sure what each of these means and which one I need. Where can I find a good chart of all the MIDI codes?
