Marcel,
Do you know which voice processor you are using? To find out follow the instructions below;
While you are in Performance # 1, press the "Mic" tab on the screen. You will now see the voice processor setup being used (drop down menu). Chances are it will be setup #1 "TC Helicon". If you scroll through, you'll find many factory presets with voice modeling, and other settings. There might be one you may like. Select it and then save the performance as the FIRST performance. Everytime you start the keyboard, this will be the default performance.
If you want to make changes to the voice preset parameters, here are the instructions.
1. Go to Global mode by pressing Global button
2. Press "Voice Processor Preset"
3. Select a preset to modify (TH Helicon will be a good place to start)
4. Press the "Effects" tab on the screen
5. Reduce the "FX Lev" (Right most knob) to reduce overall efect to your liking. (You can assign different effects, and change their settings here as well). But if you just want to reduce the echo, play around with the knobs on the top row.
6. Once satisfied, go to Page menu (upper right corner of screen)
7. Select "Write Global - Voice Processor Preset"
8. Give it a new name and Save it to a new location (Usually location # 80 or higher are available)
9. Exit Global mode and go to Performance Mode
10. Select a performance of your choice, press the "Mic" tab and select the Voice preset just created using the drop down menu.
11. Press the "Lock" button on the screen to lock this preset.
12. Save the performance as performance #1
You are done.
Hope this works out for you. There are so many powerful features on this keyboard, it can be overwhelming.
Enjoy,
Kauser
