I feel very much at home with this stuff. It just sounds like you are having fun. A wurlizer, organ, harp and guitars. You got the sound and feel for sure. You are awesome veteran musician.

Blues is what I needed to hear tonight. I will have to go play a few 16 bar rounds before I go to bed. It has been a while. You really put me in the mood.

You're so kind.
It's always great, when music can create a "mood" for a listener, and when it's my music, well, that just makes my day.
Thanks Jazzy.

Awesome song Stephen ! 8)
Used to listen a lot to blues a few years back and still do occasionally. Have friends that had a blues band.
Very authentic and nice recording / mix to my ears.
Thank you :) ! Grabbing me a beer now ;)

Hee hee - "I went down to Mississippi" good one - you sound fine - stop whimpering man!

Yes - the live feel here is awesome - made me want to west coast swing dance really slooooow and low down with my honey! But I don't have a honey right now so that wouldn't work. Ohh umm I mean "I don't have a hooooneeeeyyyyy, right now"

I do agree with the "where's the extended guitar solo" :)

Blues

Hello Stephen-
I like the subtle organ though the playing is so good I wish it could come up a bit. As it stands it is nice detail. Vocal is great for the material.

Thank you.
I find organ patches difficult to mix, they seem to cut through the mix so well.
Thanks again.

Hi Stephen

Everyone has said it all already.....I"m a bit late with my comments this month! I have listened to this a couple of times since you posted it and it is very very enjoyable! You are so talented to roll this out in a first take.

It really has that true blues feeling and I have learnt a lot from this one.

Sometimes a tune just falls out of the sky, as this one did, but whether or not it's talent, or luck, I'm not sure.
There may have been a great deal of luck involved in this, but I'm grateful for your kind words.
Thank you.
