I have one on my PC somewhere, developed by Darren Richards last year. I can't remember where I have seen it listed on the forum but I am sure I downloaded it from here. If nobody has a link send me a PM and I will email you the copy I have.

Hi,

Yes there is a PC Librarian called The OASYS Companion

http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/pryer/

It also has some other really cool functions, although some of the functions such as random patch creation, do not work properly at the moment because Korg changed the .pcg file format in the latest 1.31 version of the OS and have not released any documentation to the librarian's developer, Stuart Pryer, and as such he cannot update it until they do.

However it does work as a librarian and may come in handy. Try the demo first and email Stuart as he may be able to provide more info.

As a side note could I ask Korg if they will please provide some information on the .pcg file format changes to Stuart so that he can fix this otherwise very useful third party software. Thanks.

Hope that helps.

My librarian project is on hold at the moment ...

I will be bringing the Mac version back soon, at least, because I want to use it myself ;-)

Additionally, I would guess that after three years Korg probably aren't going to provide software for it, as they did for the M3, Radias, X50 or microX ... so it might be time to put the code hat back on and ensure my tool can manage my overflowing program banks ! I am also enjoying some of the features Roland put in the V-Synth GT librarian, and fancy having those for the Oasys.

... all of which came after the Oasys IIRC. The TR also didn't get an editor either, but for everything after that time that it seemed to be 'policy' to provide an editor for it.
