New PadKontrol User - Can't go native mode?

Hello, I bought a PK the other week to control VJ software.
Once hearing about the fantastic sounding "Farmpad" and "Monomulator" to expand my pad's functions I got well excited. Sadly I can't get either to work. Farmpad hangs when executing and Monomulator returns the message "error - missing argument for message close". hitting the "Go native" button has no effect. (The other buttons and control dial aren't seen as controllers).

It feels like my PK won't go native. I'm a total noob so am I missing something.

Anyone's help even with basic setup would be much appreciated.
