dfh Superior Korg doesn't seem to want to work

Post by shawnpigott »

I bought the padKontrol today and managed to get most of the other bundled software working but for some reason dfh Superior Korg Edition remains inoperative. I checked the plugins AU directory and see the drummer file and I've found the samples folder but Logic and Live won't recognize the plugin. I'm running on a MacBook Pro so it could be a Universal issue but I didn't see anyone else having that problem. I have the unit attached to my computer so from what I've read it shouldn't be a dongle issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

It appears to be an Intel thing as it works on my G5. Is there a Universal version anywhere?

I would suggest contacting Korg Product Support.

http://www.korg.com/service/contactus.asp

dfhSuperior is a Toontrack product, and the dfhSuperior Korg Edition is a "stripped down" teaser version of that product. Toontrack discontinued the dfhSuperior product, and there is a chance they never created a MacIntel version of the Korg Edition.

Also, you might check with Toontrack. Did you have to register the product with Toontrack? If so, there might be some MacIntel downloads available.

I'll try contacting Korg Product Support. I had to register for all of the other bundled software, but not with Toontrack. I couldn't find any information on their site.

Thanks for your suggestions.
