Thanks Tascone

The next version will allow exporting to excel or a text file, I wanted to release it in stages to allow users, at least for now, to view the contents of a set and also to show that the project was still alive, even while updating XRM.

AS mentioned previously about stage one reading styles and stage two reading programs, and your suggestion of stage three reading performances, well I just put out the three stages together

:D

Dear Mickb

I am a Software Engineer and if any help is needed let me know. I am very good at VB 6.0 or VB.NET, and I also program in other popular OS independent languages such as JAVA.

Is Korg going to release the required information or are they going to build the application, any news?

There is an free Triton application out there (LELibby) with open source code...do you think it may contain any info you need for further development?

Korg told us in private correspondence that they might build a DLL with an API that we can use, but it would depend on the amount of user demand for this. We are of course trying to apply pressure as individuals.

But because there was very poor and even negative support on this forum for my earlier suggestion of a more formal requirements group, I suspect that Korg may have dropped the whole idea. So, don't blame Korg, blame instead the general apathy and lack of commitment of members of this forum.

At one time I believed that Korg Italy were committed to providing the user community with the necessary Pa800 file format information - via DLL/ API or whatever. I no longer believe this is the case. Therefore we might just as well give up and go home. I urge users to voice their dissatisfaction about the lack of a way of managing multiple Korg format files. I am certainly most unhappy about it, and I will consider dropping my previous support and enthusiasm for Korg and Korg products.

Rob I wonder if there is some way of re-establishing a reason for Korg to pick up on this again?

I for one think it is vital that Korg DO support some form of external editing software.

People only need to look at what 3rd party developers have done for the Yamaha platform, and I am sure because of it, this has created many extra sales of Yamaha products.

In fact I have read where people have bought the Yamaha ONLY because of the huge 3rd party support the instruments get.

Hi there

unfortunately the format of triton files are different to the Pa series I had looked at the source code you mentioned at the beginning of this project to see if it would help and it did not
