Sorry guys for the noob question, but I installed the KORG software with my kontrol49, and followed the instructions, but no sounds come out of my computer speakers when I play the keys. The instructions are kind of vague, I added scenes to the pads, but when I pressed "select --> pad", no sounds came out of the speakers.
Anyone have any tips? I don't think anyone else has this problem, but maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks,
Eric
How do I get my Kontrol49 to work with my computer?

I would suggest contacting Korg Product Support:
http://www.korg.com/service/contactus.asp
Also, it would be helpful if you provided more detail about your problem.
PC or Mac? If PC, did you install the Korg USB Midi drivers?
When you say "Installed korg software", which software, the editor?
Given the Kontrol49 requires an external sound source, what software/program are you using on your computer to generate sounds?
By default, the Kontrol49 will send midi data out of its Midi OUT port (or its Midi OUT via USB) on midi channel 1. You sound source on your computer (e.g. a softsynth) would need to set the softsynth's midi input to the K49 and set the input midi channel to channel 1.
