basically turn your gear all the way up, monitors down, master at full, input trim up, and then adjust the gain until its red, but not banging red,

but when you need more juice, do you have to go to your speakers and turn up the volume?

well ive found that its super loud this way even when your monitors are at 25%!!!

but you can go up to 50%, at this point you may here this noise a bit in the background, but the noise doesnt get recorded via firewire..

the mod should address this

but.. you wont need to go to 50% in most situations

Well, to adjust the gain until it's red, that means that it must attact (or burn) orange LED? Thruth?
(this wasn't concretized by Korg)


For those users that didn't know that, I must say only, it suffice to read manuals :- ) it's all there:

1. adjust GAIN, channel metters goes close to their maximum
2. set channel fader at around 8 (than you've get 20% reserve)
3. set MASTER volume at 3 o'clock position (another reserve)
4. now you are able to adjust corectly levels of your monitors
