Salam afghana
Salam everyone. I joined this forum for 4 or 5 weeks ago, and i was in hope of that some will help me with some afghani sets for Pa800. I was really happy when i ordered my Pa800 and was hoping that the afghan brothers are going to help with the Pa800 files, but no you guy didnt. I called Kaihan to help me with some beats, but he send me some really shity files and he is the great keyboard player and beat creater, and i called him for buying one set for the pa800 and the price for that set was 1800 Euros. I thougt he was selling the keyboard and the sets for 1800, but i was wrong, 1800 was for a set. I just want to say that look at those arabs, turks and the iranian how the share their files with smile and they are not shity, there are pro maded beats. But unfortunately their sets or not useful for me coz i am an afghan. I know kaihan he has shared his files but some mother****ers who tryed to put them on net and to sell them, because of those mother****ers today nobody wants to share or upload some good stuff. I have a korg pa800 and no good set. So please dont try to earn money in coping others files and selling them. You know what i am really shamed of calling my self as an afghan. That is why ta emrozam watanne ma peshraft nakada, sayiing of " why shall he be better than me" so have a nice day and be happy with your keyboards and sets you guys are they best.

I do agree with you when it comes to Afghans regarding sharing and helping each other. But most of the Afghan musicians here (on this forums) have been helping each other and also other musicians. I do not agree with Khalid kaihan for selling his sets for 1800 Euros. That is a ripp off. He is established and can help his Afghan musicians and will not hurt his budget. If we do not help each other then who will. I am not a pro but I do have collected a few Afghani sets that are not bad at all. Most of us only need maybe a good pro Geda,Dadra,Mughuli,Kerwa,Qataghani and a good Waltz style. That is about it. We can alter the tempos or make our own styles out of them. I have paid for some sets in the past that I will never do that again. Yes! I was ripped off by our own Afghans. That is why, I decided to start helping anyone who needs help and also can not affored to buy one or have limited knowledge of the system. Come on guys, life is too short and one must help each other before it is too late. What will we do with all of these sets and files, if we are not going to be here the next second or the next day. Therefore please Khaild jan Kaihan, wake up and help your brothers who are asking you. You are making engouh and why asking for this much money. In this age of internet and fast computers, there will always be a thief who will steel our hard work and sell it for profit. It is very hard to stop these jerks. But one must remember that also there will be one who will help with out any hesitation and one is: Qader jan Eshpari. I know he make his living around his music but at the same time he has been helping, supporting a lot of us here and outside this forums.

i believe i've used that set more than a year for my live PGMS, like i mentioned if you play around with it and select different drum kits and etc, it sounds good..

yes, brother..PA800-H.A wrote:Salaam dost ha.
Qader jan, Does the SET work on the pa800? -if yes, should we load it as whole or how?
Thank u
Haris
save your old data on a pen drive or something and load my set, then listen to each individual style and replace the drum kit, percussion and some of the accomps with the ones that sounds better to your ears..although its not bad, but it was designed for I30, change the drum kits and etc ONLY of you think it doesn't sound right...after you changed the drum kits and etc, then save it under a new PERFORMANCE !!

Brother e Aziz, where are you? We have not heard from you since your last post dated 03/31/08. Hope everything is OK. It will not hurt to respond to us. We are here to help each other. Some times, our schedules and other issues do prevent us to check the forums all the time but I think most of us do return to Korg forums when ever we get a chance. Be in touch and take care.

Hello to all my Afghan brothers
Salaam Everyone,
I am so fortunate to have found my Afghan musicians on this forum.
First of all, a big Salaam to Qader Jan who I have the utmost respect for. I have bought many of his albums and have enjoyed them over the decade. Second a big salaam to the rest of my brothers who I don't know but could all be just as famous and informative as Qader Jan.
So what brought me to this forum? Well, I was doing a little research as to what keyboard and I thought I had nailed it down to PA2X Pro but after reading some of Qader Jan's comments on why he disliked the board it made me rethink of my choice. So here I am all confused all over again. Thanks to you Qader Jan
The board will not be used for live performances as I am not an entertainer. Music is mostly an expensive hobby for me as it will most likely remain that way lol.
My current set up is as follows:
I have decent DAW setup with RME Fireface800 at home. Mostly Cubase/Nuendo user although I use ProTools once in a while at friends studio.
Being friend of a studio owner I have more samples then you can imagine (about 500 CD's and DVD's) So I really would like to use some of these great ethnic samples at my disposal. I also have almost every single VSTi on the market except for a few latest ones. So as far as sounds are concerned I have no need for them. What I am interested in is full capability of arrangements as well as multi-timbral parts for sequencing.
I love designing my own sounds rather than using over used patches on every CD I hear. I think one of the reasons why Qader Jan is good at what he does is because of his passion and understanding of sound/sounds. I am the same way as I get bored of same sound very fast.
So question I have. Putting $ aside as it is not an issue, why PA800 vs. Pa2X Pro? Keep in mind I have never owned an arranger and learning curve might be an issue but I’m decent learner. But still have to say that I have never owned an arranger before.
My studio right is nothing but midi controllers. So again I’m open to other options if Pa800 or Pa2X Pro is not the right choice. Well I'll be waiting for replies as I am almost set to go on the Pa2X Pro.
The mods on this forum may wonder why we are always asking for afghan forums. It’s not because want to disengage out selves from the rest of the world lol. We merely don’t have enough professional musicians out there who are tech smart, or should I say tech-savvy. One of the main reasons why I even signed up on this forum was because of Qader Jan who we know can teach us a thing or two about this topic. So yes we are not some weird cult who wants our own forums all the time lol.
In hopes of mods not rolling their eyes at yet another Afghan asking for yet another Afghan music forum, does anyone else know of any other great afghan music forums?
Guys, it’s a pleasure to be part of this great forum. Hope I can contribute as much as I will learn from you guys, especially on these keyboards if I purchase one.

After reading the forum for few hours I have found most Afghan brothers here helping each other out. I don't know why you had such bad expirence. I have read posts by Qader Jan as well as other Afghans sharing their styles, loops with out any hesitation. I think we need to be more positive on the fact that Afghans do support each other. Its self fullfiling prophecy! The more you believe, the easier it will get for you. At least that has been my life expierence. So again I am sorry Ahamdi Jan but I saw quite contrary to what you believe.
Okay I have to go practice my voice now! "Anar Gul dana dana dana dana dana"

Salaam brother, Well if money is not an issue then I would definitely say pa2X, althought I am happy with pa00!
The reason I say this is because of the extra features you get from pa2x which u can check on korgpa.com, but the only reason I didnt get it was because I thought pa800 offered more for its price tag than pa2x!
