Post by plastika »

Hi There

Got a question

Since a couple day's my Zero 8 got some troubles
after a 15/20 minutes the left channel of channel 1 fails to work
instead the mixer does a weird thing it goes to somehow
put the left channel to Channel 2 before all this happens
wierd glitches/cracks are be heard...

I got the Zero 8 since last year no problems at all since
yesterday...?

Anybody..? help...

Ps i did update it to 1.6 but before that it does this also

update! while typing this the output of the Korg changes on it own
from channel 1 Left.....channel 2 richt .....and stereo to channel 5
and WTF it goes back to channel 1 in stereo WHAT IS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!

I sent my Korg in to be repaired by an authorized Korg repair music store a few weeks ago (as Korg said I should do). My very last stereo channel on my Korg Zero 8 (outputs 15 and 16) only outputs the left side, but then the right side appears on channel 1.

The guy trying to fix the mixer called Korg and they told him that I am "using the mixer incorrectly."

I am not an idiot. If you run stereo sound into the last channel it should not split it between stereo channel 8 and 1. This includes cd input, line input, firewire etc.

Korg told the guy fixing it that I would have to call Korg customer support and have them work on the issue with me.

Seriously guys, you are really screwing your customers left and right here and the word on the street is really killing you. Many artists I talk to ask me about the mixer when they see me with it and they all start from the point of "I've heard it has really bad issues." Guess what I tell them?

I still haven't heard back from the guy fixing it yet so who knows what is going to happen now.
