Sometime when I take an existing track for modifying it :
For example, I add a snare on the Drum track, while recording it's ok but when I switch to another track (perc for example) the snare of the drum track has automatically increased a lot its velocity !
This can happen whey you inadvertently record a loop twice. For example you set variation length = 2 measures, but then play drums for 3 or 4 measures. Then you get double notes in this track (you can check this by opening the event edit page). If you have double notes, then this is the cause of the problem.
If there are no double notes, try to switch keyboard velocity sensivity OFF. Then you will get all the same velocities (90). If you really get something different than 90 and no double notes, then this may be a software problem.
Good luck!
Hi thanks for this idea, I have checked the Event List but no double notes.
The velocity of the snare in the event list is around 80, and when I playback the style in playing mode it sounds as 127!
The strange thing is when I selected the drum track for recording (that little red icon on the track) then I press start, then the correct velocity is played back. When I switch recording to another track (perc for example) then it plays the higher velocity.
It's like it is playing high velocity as soon as I leave the recording of that drum track.
I'll try full erase that track and see what happen.
