Hey everyone,
Since I know a lot of people here are into producing trance/house/techno music I was wondering if any of you have ever experimented with the "pizzicato" type sound used in some classic dance songs.
Here's some examples of when its been used in songs, most famously in the song Insomnia by Faithless:

And also made famous by DJ Sash in the song Encore une Fois:

I came across a link on Google where on a forum people were discussing how to create the sound and they said about layering a organ type sound with a pizzicato, with lots of reverb.
I've been tweaking for a while now and I'm sure that to get the sound right it needs to be a pizzicato with a layered SAW wave or something. I was wondering if anyone has perfected this type of sound and would like to share how they went about it as I'm more then willing to learn.
P.S The sound is 100% possible on the EMX aswell, as its used in this video here: (skip to 2:46)
