drum sounds
i'll bet there has got to be someone out there who's made some killer drum sounds on their micro korg. if so, would be person be able to give any tips on how to do that?
digital has made things better and is destroying everything at the same time.
The documentation for the Waldorf Attack plugin contains a very useful section about drum sound programming with substractive synths. Most of it can be applied to any VA:

There are other tutorials out there, for example, this one is focused on the Nord Modular series, but the theory can also be applied on the MS2000/uKorg:

Now, with the MS2000 step sequencers, you can do some cool drum loops, but I'm not sure the uKorg also has sequencers.
Another thing that is fun, is running a drum machine through the MS2K/uKorg filters and effects.
Don't forget you can layer two timbres for extra thickness.

This guy's got some stuff to say. The only thing is he uses the MS2000, but many of the same things can still be done with the MicroKorg. Also, if the first video frustrates you, still watch the second. I believe in you!
