New PA800 behaving badly

Post by griffin2003 »

:( I guess I'll have to take it in for service. Only had it 2 weeks. It starts changing screens and doing things on it's own. I even tried formatting and reinstalling OS & resourses but after about 5 minutes of playing it goes on it's own again, changing pages etc by itself.

Sounds like a loose cable. But of course it could be anything...
I can't remember if there s a door on the bottem you can easily open.. If there is, open it and see if you can find any cables to re-seat.

If not... yep it has to go back...unless someone else has any ideas?

Try again to download both format utility and OS/RES 1.60 from the korg PA site.

I did reload from the original CD at first it was OK but then went bonkers again. It's now in for service. Thanks anyway.
