ESX-1 Keyboard Parts

Post by Milhouse »

Noob here, Having problems getting the keyboard to work. The Manual is not much help. It just says, "press the keyboard button!" but how do you use the Keyboard 1,2 and have the notes change. Is that the step edit record or transpose?? Help!!!

You need to activate one of the Keyboard Parts and assign a sample to it as well before that works. Also make sure the keyboard is not set to a low octave so the sample is pitched way down.

do you see the black keys?

2 - 7 - 10 - 12 - 14

this are the black notes on a standard piano keyboard...4 is C, 5 is C#, 6 is D and so on

select a keyboard part (1 or 2)

assign a sample: part edit button and rotate the wheel

then press the "keyboard" button (it has to be lite)

then just press the steps...the sample assigned will play in the notes you press...

then press record and play ythe part

if you want to edit go to step edit mode and edit the note data
