It seems the EX Multisamples 000-003 are from Oasys (Maybe not the best one on Oasys). Program A001 StereoPiano mf/f is based on these samples. The low and mid notes sound great, but the higher notes above C5 are too thin and weak... I have to adjust the 7-Band EQ to make it proper to my ear...

The ROM A-Piano sounds plastic.... EX 000-003 are much much better than it, with great harmonic contents..

You can adjust the EQ for the preset StereoPiano mf/f to make it sound in your favorite way. e.g. see my settings:

Do you compare the samples in the initial program D127? If so the a.piano with less high frequency contents may sound more like normal piano.
But a GOOD sample should contain enough high frequency contents so that we can cutoff it at any point we want and give the program enough room for DYNAMIC FILTERING. That may be why sampling is such a difficult job.

No i have created my own program in singel mode with no efeccts, and with no eq.
i only adjasted EG
So i compared both pianos and thay jast sound different, but why i chouse a piano becouse it have strong sound at all keys. 8)

And by the way i like sound of my own created piano with no effects and eq more then program 001A

Today i want to try to add some reverb to it and will see what will happend

Well, it seems that you didn't really CUTOFF anything. Just setting the Filter EG is not enough, you need to set how much this EG applies to the OSC as well. And you also need to set the initial value of the filters: cutoff and reson***ce(Sorry for my poor English). Or you can also try to twist the cutoff knob in Knob Mode A to compare the effect of different cutoff frequency~~

It's ok. i have terable enlish too. :D

Oh yes, i jast seid that other setting is on flat what means thay doesn't color you sound becouse it will be too long to descreib each parameter.

Jast try my settings and see how it will sound.

Good luck
