Possible to play a sample 'one-shot' style ?

Hi all,

I couldn't find the answer in the manual so I kindly ask it here

I use some samples that are spoken phrases.

My question is: is it possible to hit an assigned key and then release it while the sampled phrase still goes on until it is finished by itself ?

Or do I always have to press the hold-pedal to achieve this ?

You can put your samples in a drum kit (drums work that way) or enable the hold option in the Program being used to trigger the multi-sample.
