hm 2 questions with sd card to keyboard

Post by gerginator »

ok so i finally fiured out how to upload sounds onto my sd card.. when i put it in the keyboard in the back, i turned it on and then i went to media to acceess the bank.

the 'rose4' .pcg file was found with all the programmed sounds, but how do i actually play them? when i clicked utility and then 'load selected' and then moved it to bank d, it said writing in internal memory, and then now my entire d bank is wiped out and idk where any of the sounds are still.. can someone please help me?

so yea firstly i wanna figure out how to restore those d bank sounds, and secondly i want to figure out how to play the sounds i just downloaded as well

There is no User Bank in TR; all banks are Users. (it is so in Korgs since M1's age). So, the only way to load new sounds from card is to overwrite existing sounds.

You can restore presets in the Global mode page 1.1 > Utility > Load/Preload Demo Data.

There are no D combis. Combis are A-C, so D is unclickable, only programs are A-D.

Why don't you backup your sounds and then load rose?

SD card = smart media card?

Post by since1982 »

Sorry to intrude, but does any ordinary SD card works as a smart media card on triton le?

Yup, even better, cause it's easier to find SD card to buy.

Most likely salesman in the computer store will try to sell you expensive "fast" card. They're good for photo cameras, but for use in the keyboard it doesn't matter. So any inexpensive ordinary card will do the job. Same for the card reader (unless your computer has onboard reader).

What a relief.. cos last I checked they aren't selling smartmedia cards anymore. Thanks so much folks for the advice! Really appreciate it!
