Does Korg follow through?

Post by gareebee »

I purchased a TR61 more than two months ago from Nova Musik Co. I sent in the form requesting my choice of free gear advertised. They said six to eight weeks to deliver. it has been ten weeks, but no delivery and I have only 5 days to re-send free gear form if lost. Does anyone have experience with receiving their free gear offer? Do they follow through? Is it the real thing? Do you know of a number I can call?

Thanks:

I'm sorry to hear of your wait.

You said you sent in the form, did you also include a copy of your receipt and the UPC code from the unit? not having those elements can create delays/problems...

Call 631-390-6500 and explain what's up - they'll get you to someone who can help you.

Jerry

I bought TR61 May 30th, and today found a box in the mail with Pad Control inside!
So, it worked as expected. The cool thing is that you get bunch of bundled siftware including Reason (Korg edition), Korg M1 LE, Universal Sound Bank instrument etc. Not so cool was that Reason license number did not work, so I could not activate it. I called Korg, but folks there were too busy and I decided to wait till Monday. Will see.
Same with USB player: installation went well, but Sonar could not see it in DXi list...
If it ain't broken, don't fix it!

I called the #. I am on file with them. They are back-ordered on the EXB-SMPL for several weeks. Can't wait to load Mellotron samples!

Thanks again!

I ordered my Korg TR-88 with a limited offer on free EXP-2, PS-1 Switch and Damper pedals as a mail in offer. They arrived within two-ish months if I remember correctly.

Yes, they told me they were back-ordered on EXB-SMPL boards and to expect an additional three weeks or so.
