Which headphones?

Hey fellas(and ladies if there are an lurking), Been a while since I posted. I just added a X50 to the mix(TR-61 is still my lead board) and connected some 15 year old Koss headphones to the x50 and was surprised at how I could hardly hear anything. I pushed the volume slider all the way up and it was still way 2 quiet. I tried them with the TR and same thing. To make sure the phone jack wasn't screwy, I got out my Zune earbuds and tried them and the music came thru quite loud so question is...

Without breaking the bank mind you, what do you recommend for a good set? I'd like to keep the price around 100.00. Anything has to be better than these Koss I got in the early 90s for DJ'ing.
