I HAVE READ THE FORUM EXTENSIVLY AND FOUND OUT THAT THIS IS PROBEBLY ONE OF THE BEST PLACE TO GET HELP AND ADVISE ABOUT MUSIC SPECIALY SORTING OUT KORG KEYBOARDS.
I USED TO HAVE A KORG PA80 BUT I GIVE IT AWAY NOW I AM LOOKING TO GET HOLD OF A NEW KEYBOARD IT IS SOLY FOR HOME USE ( HOBY)I AM NOT SURE IF I SHOULD GET A KORG PA1X OR PA800 PLEASE ADVISE.
I DONT HAVE SPACE FOR MIXER BIG SPEAKERS etc(me and my new born share the nursery room lol) ARE ANY OF THESE KEYBOARD COMPATABLE WITH MIC AND HAVE SOME BASIC FUNCTION TO ADJUST SOUND LIKE DELAY ETC FOR VOCALS.

hello brother..
from my personal experience , i luv pa800 very different from other korg models , pa1x is kinda heavy..i didn't like it nor pa2x..

Hello Hamid,
From what you describe as your requirements, the Pa800 will do everything you need. You could also consider the Pa500 if you want a cheaper option without sample editing/ sample creation capability. There are regional versions of the Pa500 with specially designed styles and quarter tone scale presets that aren't available on the Pa800 at the moment. If you need to play what I looseley describe as "byzantine" style music with quarter tone scales, it may be worth inquiring from Korg's dealer in Turkey whether a "special" version of the Pa500 is available.
