Rob, sounds like it's a "few" out of the hundreds you have sent out, but I understand how you feel.

I am sorry to hear it, because I know and appreciate the work you have put into the project. Most of us undoubtedly appreciate what you have done.

Thanks and God bless.

Good morning folks ! I have sent out the latest batch of ' Korg Arranger Secrets' for the USA/Canada to our distributor Frank Ventresca from AudioWorks USA. I have inspected the DVD's in their casing, tenderly wrapped and packed them myself so they should get to you in good shape !! The UKEuropean/PAL customers will be mailed on Wednesday this week so you should recieve yours before the end of the week or mid next week.

Thanks everyone for their patience and cooperation.

God Bless

just wondering to what extent you have covered style creation/editing in the DVD's, ie stuff like the note transposition tables, when to use parallel i series setting ( & what type of chord does it cover, I'm guessing it's a maj7th??)
This keyboards got some great style creation functions but details are lacking in the manual.

I think I've worked most of them out anyway, but some proffesional guidance sure would help.

best wishes
Rikki
Chris covered MIDI to Style, Style creation from scratch (multi tracking), Creating style variations and copying VARs. We did not cover CV's or parallel i series settings this time. Maybe this is something we can include on the fourth DVD if enough people want it explained?

Best regards,
Rob
yeah, you guys covered midi to style part extremely briefly. It would've been nice if did a 4th dvd with more in depth info about style creation, and midi stuff, as lots of people want to do this all the time. by the way, i had problem playing back the first dvd at some point. i think it was "the song book" chapter, 00:47 , . it kept freezing on the same spot. I had to change 3 computers, before i could get it to work and get passed that point.
Also the guy who was doing the presentation, at the beginning of the video mentioned that he was gonna talk about "recording pads" later on, but he never mentioned anything about it at all.

Hiya,

If you'd like to send an email to korgarrangersecrets@gmail.com with your address we will replace the first DVD, sometimes they get scratched in the post and that might be the problem.

We are filming DVD4 this coming weekend and hope to include more on MIDI and Groove to Style conversion. Also the DVD will have a lot more demos on sampling and creating new sounds from samples. DVD4 will be filmed on a Pa2x. We hope to complete the editing and production work later this year.

really, that sounds terrific, i'm totally interested in the new one as well. I think lots of people feel the same way, because sampling, importing, exporting, making styles with intro..variations, and such are a key part of these keyboards.

There will be an English DVD tutorial for Sampling (in detail recording an electro acoustic guitar) and Style creation using Guitar Mode and Fixed NTT.

It is "Arranger Secrets DVD4", filmed on the Pa2x. We just finished filming it last weekend (featuring Chris Whitehead again). Mick Barry (MickB) and I are here in Corfu at the moment working on the editing and clip selection menus etc. DVD4 will be available later this year to all existing customers of the first three "Arranger Secrets" DVD's. Mick will contact all existing customers by email to provide full details as soon as the finished DVDs are available. The price is likely to be around £15 GBP or $30 USD which will include a new 4-up case, a new case insert with index to all four DVD's, and of course the new DVD4.

If you are unsure whether we have the correct email address for you, you can send an email to korgarrangersecrets@gmail.com and just put in the title "DVD Number 4". This will make sure you get added to the distribution list when the DVD becomes available.

The DVD will not be available to anyone unless you have already purchased the current Arranger Secrets DVD set.

Hey Rob, just a quick question. I know you mentioned that in your new DVD, you're going to talk about sampling little bit more. Do you know if you're going to include some related topics, such as importing samples from sample CDs with different formats such as wave, akai, ...etc, that are supported by korg as well?

Announcement:

As from July 2008, Michael (Mick) Barry has taken over the duties of Worth Quarrie in handling the PAL format orders for the ArrangerSecrets DVD's. Any emails sent to arrangersecrets@gmail.com or to korgarrangersecrets@gmail.com will be handled by Mick.

I would like to acknowledge the two years of hard work as a volunteer contributed by Worth, and add my many thanks for Worth's role in starting the project. Oh yeah ... and thanks for stitching me up good and proper as well, Worth :-)

Sam,

Sorry that we ran out of time and space on the DVD to everything like handling different import formats.

Hi Rob,

Hope you are coming through with the recent incident that happened with you.

Rob, I ordered for the instructional DVDs around 02 months back but therez no news regarding the same. I was hoping to receive them within 15-20 days from the ordering date but nothing as yet.

I do understand that you guyz are continuously attached with the production of the fourth DVD but at my end I am anxiously waiting to get hold of the DVDs.

I would really like to have an update on the delivery status.

Regards,

Umair

Hello Umair,

According to my email records, you did ask about the DVD's but you did not send us your address. Worth replied to you on 10th Jun asking for your address but there was no reply from you sent to korgarrangersecrets@gmail.com - so nothing has happened.

If you would like to complete the necessary order details we will of course be pleased to supply you.

Hello Umair,

I accept that we have made a mistake in losing this email from you. Worth has resigned from the arranger secrets team and Mick Barrie is now handling dispatch, so as soon as Mick and I receive your address we will get your DVD's to you.

Many apologies.

Hi Rob,

No need for apologies friend :)

Just want to put forward a request that kindly give me confirmation, if possible, that you have received my postal address and that the DVDs are on their way.

Your efforts in all this are much appreciated Rob :)
